Multisrada gets the V4S treatment

Let's face it, the Multistrada did need an update - and we got it.

With 180bhp at 13,500 rpm, this seems like an all-rounder that will also be blistering on the track. We do question whether all that power is necessary, though.

After all, we hated the Panigale V4RS. It made no sense to make a road bike version of their racer - other than for people to pose - and putting nearly 200bhp in a Multistrada feels overkill.

That being said, we can’t deny that Ducati has been on a bit of a role recently and that most of their current bikes are refreshingly practical - so it’s safe to assume that it’s not just about numbers - the whole package should come together into a bike that is both practical and thrilling. That’s the theory anyway.

You get the usual Akrapovič and Öhlins accoutrements, as well as the new tablet-style dash that comes with the rest of Ducati's current range.

We’ve actually been working on a secret project - and you may see the new Multistrada featured there. So for now, we’ll say no more.
